Note: If anyone knows what the title of this episode has to do with the episode, please tell me. I can't figure it out, which is quite embarrassing to admit, since I am a huge tennis fan. In case you missed it: Jeremy insists that he had defeated the Y2K problem, and asks Dana for permission to conduct a test at 6:00 the following evening. She reluctantly gives it. Meanwhile, we see Dan chatting up a woman at the bar, who gives him her card before leaving with another man. The next day, the gang runs through a mock show. On the set, Dan shows Casey her card, and Casey points out that she's a psychologist. Dan keeps insisting that the appointment he made with her is a date, and not an appointment. Meanwhile, Jeremy pushes a button and the whole thing shuts down. The monitors go off, no one's getting anything, and Jeremy frantically attempts to fix things. Then the power goes out, on their floor only. Dan heads off to meet the woman from the bar. They chat briefly in her office, until he finally decides that maybe, in fact, he's not there for a date. Back at the show, Dana decides to move the show to an upstairs studio. Jeremy is completely disillusioned, equating his failure to succeed at the Y2K test with his fear of the new millennium. Isaac comes in and makes a very moving proclomation about how there is nothing to fear, during which Dana realizes that the control board was rewired and the labels weren't changed, which means that Jeremy hit the panic button instead of the button he wanted to push. He hits it again, and the studio springs back to life. More Notes: This episode can't be summarized very well, in that half of the humor came from Jeremy's running around making his little speeches. There was a funny bit with Casey's chair, too, but again, it doesn't really translate into the written word.
